Biography
Dr. Zhou
is a Professor at the University of California,
Riverside. Dr. Zhou received his Ph.D.
from the University of California, Irvine in 2004 and performed postdoctoral work
at the University of Washington (2005-2006) and the Rockefeller University
(2006-2010). Before joining University
of California, Riverside as a professor of biomedical sciences in 2019, he was a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacology and Nutritional
Sciences at the University of Kentucky (2010-2019). Dr. Zhou is an elected Fellow of American
Heart Association (FAHA) and has served on the NIH study section as a charter
member. The main research
interest of Dr. Zhou’s laboratory is to investigate the molecular mechanisms of
atherosclerosis and metabolic disorders.
