Brief sketch:

 

            Dr. Yang currently is Director, Graduate Education for the Cardiovascular Research Center, and tenured Professor of Pharmacology, Cardiovascular Research, Microbiology and Immunology at Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM). Dr. Yang teaches Pharmacology in TUSM, Temple University Podiatry School of Medicine, Temple University School of Dental Medicine, and Temple University Graduate School. Dr. Yang’s NIH-funded research focuses are cardiovascular immunology, atherosclerosis, vascular inflammation, and molecular, metabolic signal mechanisms. Dr. Yang is editorial member for the Journal of Biological Chemistry, managing editor for the Frontiers in Bioscience (Landmark edition), Journal of Immunology Research, and academic editor for the PLOS ONE.
