Biography

 

Trained in medicine, vascular biology, bioengineering, and data science, Dr. Chen leads an interdisciplinary research program focused on endothelial stress response, with emphases on non-coding RNA and diabetes. She is also actively involved in teaching at the graduate school at City of Hope. She is passionate about mentorship and peer support and is currently the Vice-Chair of AHA ATVB Women’s Leadership Committee.
